Roads
Dubai roads are very well maintained. Most of the iconic skyscrapers of the city are built along the famous Sheikh Zayed Road. And like the UK, cars here drive on the right hand side of the road.

Gold
The city is known for its gold trade. Dubai is home to the largest and heaviest ring in the world. Another interesting fact is that Burj Al Arab Hotel, one of the most impressive architectural wonders of Dubai, has around 1,790 square meters of 24-carat gold leaf that can even cover the Mona Lisa painting 46,265 times over.

Palm Islands
Palm Islands, one of the most famous man-made islands in the world is located in Dubai. It is a group of three artificial islands that are visible from space. The rock and sand used to design the Palm Islands is enough to shape a 2m-wide wall around the globe thrice.

Accommodation
Dubai is home to the world’s tallest hotel - The Gevora Hotel. Tourists can stay at any of the city’s underwater hotels for a unique holiday experience. A nominal charge called the 'Tourism Dirham' is payable by hotel guests and ranges from AED 7 to AED 20 per room per night.
